“Bonjour tristesse ”
This hotel really left me without words to describe the horrors we encountered there. We have stayed in other state owned hotels, but this one was something special: plain rooms without any amenities (no mini bar, no hair dryer, no shampoo, no lamps aside from neon light on the ceiling, no pool towels, no bath mat,...). But the worst thing is the food. On the breakfast buffet we found the left-overs from the horrible dinner-buffet, hardly anything was edible. And the staff doe not care about anything - whenever we asked (for simple things like ketchup, which you can find anywhere in Cuba) they did not have it. An exception are the waiters in the pool bar, they were kind and tried their best.
I would recommend to stay there only if you have no other choice.
